Moto Perpetuo – It never stops, perpetual motion. Once again, The Pride of Lamar had a busy week. From Symphony Orchestra UIL (straight 1’s), to UIL Solo & Ensemble (11 division 1 medals), and WGI Austin Regional Championship (varsity winter guard advanced to Semifinals), we had a lot of successes! The band family continues to rehearse hard and stay focused on excellence. Parents, be extremely proud and brag on these exemplary young adults!
A Night of Percussion – AND BURGERS! THIS Tuesday March 3rd we will have percussion performances Truth Vinyl from 6:00pm to 8:30pm. Just across the breezeway from there is Twisted Root Burgers. They are donating part of their profits to the Lamar Band from 5:00pm-9:00pm. Come out and enjoy an awesome evening of Lamar Band music and eat some dinner to help the LBBC raise money!
