Winterguard – The Lamar Varsity Winterguard had an incredible performance at the NTCA Championship today! We are so proud of the hard work these students put in this season. Congratulations to all!
Parent Appreciation Concert – Thank you to all the many supporters who came out. It was a packed house for our in the band room style concert. A little warm, but the music was great. Wish us luck at UIL this week!
UIL Concert & Sight Reading Contest – This week the Lamar Bands will travel to Mansfield for the UIL Region 5 C&SR Evaluation. The itineraries are attached. It is important the students look their very best. Make sure tuxedos and dress are clean and pressed for Wednesday and Thursday. Make sure to eat healthy and get plenty of sleep leading up to the performances. Parents are encouraged to attend if possible.
Spring Trip – The spring trip is just 2 weeks away! If you missed the trip meeting, see Lang ASAP! Also, we have a couple of spots available. If you want to join us on the trip and can afford the $600 by the 12th, please see Lang immediately on Monday.

Trip Band Rehearsal – All members going on the trip must attend the rehearsal this Friday 3:15pm-4:15pm.
Drumline Update – Drumline auditions started last week.
Jazz Update – Jazz band is now preparing for the spring concert.
Winterguard Update – Great end to the season! Now we have fall color guard clinics and auditions the week of April 15th.
